Dave Byrd of
Monterey, California, the 2007 Flashco SRL Southwest Tour Series
Champion is set to begin his title defense of the Series.
Dave and the "Rest of the Best in the
Southwest" roll into All American Speedway in Roseville, California
this Friday and Saturday, March 28th and 29th for a special two day
show to kick off the 2008 season.
Teamed for a
second year in a row with Bob Strandwold Racing of Modesto,
California. The plan for the year is a simple one, win races and
repeat as champions. Dave's 2007 championship was his 16th driving
title in a very successful career. Defending that title will mean
defeating some of the best drivers in the Southwest.

Racing crew spent March 15 testing at All American Speedway
preparing for the upcoming 2008 Stockcar Racing League season
opener. Dave was able to make a number of runs throughout the day,
testing several set ups and turning some impressive laps at what is
a very tight and intense track. The crew left very satisfied with
the results.
